What Causes Blood In Urine, Stomach Pain And Burning Sensation During Urination?
Question: Hello,
I have bright red blood in my urine, no clots or otherwise. I've had pain in my upper stomach near the sternum for a couple days that is very sour and dull, but no lower abdominal pain or any other symptoms. My bladder feels fine. My kidneys feel fine and it doesn't burn when I urinate. My partner had the same stomach experience as I did after we ate something three evening ago, but he hasn't had any blood in his urine.

I am Dr Mittal.

The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible renal stone.
I would suggest testing a urine routine culture and usg abdomen.
Please do let me know if you want any more information on the symptoms. Best of luck.

If I have no pain at all and am still urinating bright blood through this morning, could it still be a stone instead of something else?
Brief Answer:
Other possibilities are there. Kidney stones is commonest
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your response.
I would like to consider kidney stones first because they are the common cause of the blood in urine. Other causes are all there including bladder stone, bladder cancer, renal cancer and renal infection.
However, most of these would show up in the investigations I suggested. So we will know what is causing the problem.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
