What Causes Blood In Urine While On Allopurinol And Metoprolol?

Question: I have noticed a small amount of blood at the beginning of urination, then no more until the next time. I also had blood in my pre-ejaculate fluid, but unable to ejaculate. Medications recently changed are:
Allopurinol 100 mg 1x day; metoprolol from 25 mg to 50 mg 1x day
Additionally I take Lisinopril 20mg 2x day; amlodipine besylate 2.5 mg 1x day
I had mild attacks of gout in July, which is why the amlodipine was not increased .. metrop. increased instead
My bp has been 120 over 100. Now its higher - 192/114. Plus I had nose bleeds past 2 days.
Please advise.

Brief Answer:
Aspirin causing bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns.
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with blood in your urine and ejaculate along with recent nasal bleeding. I think all of this is related to taking aspirin. Aspirin is a blood thinner and is can case spontaneous bleeding anywhere. I believe if you stop the aspirin for 1 week the bleeding will stop.
The elevation in blood pressure is also related to the nasal bleeding. Once your nasal bleeding stops the blood pressure will also return to normal
