What Causes Blood In Urine?
Question: Tonight I bleed when I urinate and I am constantly urinating but only few urine but with blood. Is it related to my hesterectomy? I had a total hysterectomy 2 years ago. What should i do now since my OB office is closed over weekend.

I do not think this is related to your hysterectomy, as it was 2 years back.
It is likely that you are having a urinary tract infection.
Also, after menopause, the vaginal tissues become dry and friable, called atrophic vaginitis.
That can lead to breakage and infection of the tissues easily, and also spotting and bleeding.
This is not an emergency, but yes, a check up is essential.
You should be having an internal exam by an oB -GYN to rule out atrophic vaginitis, a Pap smear and a pelvic ultrasound scan.
This can wait until Monday, no issues.
You can call up the lab and submit your urine for urine routine microscopy and urine culture testing - that will take care of the infection part.
MEanwhile you need to do nothing.
Just avoid sex till the workup is done.

This is my first episode. Also, lately I have difficulty sleeping at night. Is it hormonal imbalance due to menopause? The frequency of my urination right now is every 30 minutes or less and has solid blood.
