Brief Answer:
it is used for urinary tract infections

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Blood on urination and discomfort can be due to urinary tract infections.

Bactrim can be used to treat urinary tract infections.

If you have previously used this antibiotic with no complications and the medication has a good expiratory date then it can be used though it may be best to see your doctor for confirmation of the infection by urine analysis.

Normal strength bactrim is normally taken as 2 tabs twice daily for 3 to 5 days for an uncomplicated urinary tract infection.
If there is no response then your doctor may need to suggest an alternative for you.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
