Brief Answer:
Drink plenty of fluids, blood will clear up. If persist the contact ER

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXX

Thank you for contacting Healthcaremagic.

You are having copious amount of hematuria. The commonest cause would be an urinary tract infection but there may be other causes including stones, injury or even more sinister cause.

Have you had any injury to the abdomen or your private parts? Have you got any pain associated with passing blood? Are you feeling light headed?

I would advice you to drink plenty of oral fluids to keep the blood thin and thus prevent blood from clotting in your bladder.

If blood clears up contact your doctor at the next available appointment to arrange for further tests on an outpatient basis. If you have symptoms such as giddiness or if bleeding persists then contact Emergency department/casualty.

At your age you will need full evaluation including Haemogram/Hemoglobin, PSA, creatinine, urine analysis -routine and culture, ultrasound of urinary tract and possibly cystoscopy on an urgent basis.

Hope that helps you
