What Causes Blood In Urine?
Question: I had to go to the bathroom in an emergency, I squeeze my penis too hard and now I have drips of blood when I urinate. What should I do?
Brief Answer:
Did this happen just today?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You probably would've traumatized the urethra as you squeezed so hard on it. This will resolve spontaneously and there is no reason to get worried about it. If it however persists, let me know.
In addition, drink much water so that you can urinate often and flush out any collecting blood clot.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
Above all, please keep me updated.
Regards

Yes, it happened to day. There is pain during urination only, can I take over the counter meds for the pain.
Brief Answer:
Take tylenol only!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Take tylenol 1000mg at most thrice daily for pain. At this time, you should no longer have any blood in your urine. Let me know how this is going.
Thanks.
