What Causes Blood In Urine?
Question: i have been having blood in my urine, am post menopausal. no pain/infection

Since there are no other infection symptoms such as frequency or discomfort on urination, this is not likely the cause.
Other causes of blood in the urine include: (1) stones- usually associated with some pain however unless small
(2)trauma
(3)mass or cysts (sacs) in the urinary tract- this can be benign or cancerous. Cancer is a very rare cause of blood in the urine.
(4)side effect of medication such as aspirin or clotting meds like warfarin
(5)bleeding disorder
(6)kidney disease;
You would need to be assessed by your doctor to find the cause. This would involve physical examination along with investigations such as urine analysis, creatinine and bun (these check the kidneys), complete blood count.
Imaging such as ultrasound may be needed for some persons
