Posted on Thu, 9 Mar 2017
Question: I have blood in my urine with a fowl smell. I have had a back ache for several days and the the last couple of days have been the worst. The red in the urine has been very prominent first thing in the morning but the last couple of days it's been every time I go. Also today I have only gone to the restroom 3 times. I feel discomfort but no pain.

Brief Answer:
Possible Urinary XXXXXXX infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thank you for using Health Care Magic.
I have gone through your question and I understand your concern.
According to the symptoms you have , could be a Urinary Tract infection (Cystitis ) or kidney stone .
You need to so a Urine test to check for bacteria in urine, blood test and physical examination if it's neccesary other examinations (Ultrasound ,X-ray..)
According to the result you will discuss with your treating doctor for the treatment.
Meanwhile keep drinking planty of water , cranberry juice , decrease salt intake and protein intake , don't hesitate to go in the bathroom when you need ( don't keep the urine )

Hope this is helpful .
Let me know if you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.
Take Care !
