Question: I have been diagnosed (via blood test) with Dengue fever 4 weeks ago. Symptoms of blurred vision, fatigue, headaches, feeling of poor circulation into feet are persisting. I am at home resting with good nutrition and plenty of fluids. Is there anything I can do to assist my recovery? i am particularly concerned about my blurred vision and headache. What do I need to watch for that would make me need to seek further medical attention?

Brief Answer:
Complications

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but unfourtanetly dengue fever symptoms usually start to improve within 2 weeks which suggests that the persisting symptoms might be due to complications of dengue fever.
I would recommend that you get a fundus eye examination to exclude the presence of macular edema or hemorrhagic retinal spots which may be the cause of your persisting blurred vision.
Also I would recommend that you get a a CBC test ( ( basically to assess RBC count) and a blood test for level of proteins in blood.. if RBCs count is high and blood proteins are low then this confirms plasma leakage out of the capillaries as a cause of the poor circulation of your feet .. which can be treated with IV fluids and albumin administration..
I hope I answered your question
