What Causes Body Pain, Excessive Sleeping And Swollen Neck Lymph Glands?

Consult a doctor; clinical examination is needed
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.
I understand your concern.
Thank you for providing a detailed history.
It seems like you are having some infection with cervical lymphadenopathy i.e. swollen neck lymph glands. Such a condition can be managed with medications, preferably oral antibiotics. But if the swelling is large enough and might contain fluid as you have mentioned, then the infection has spread and might turn into an abscess. In such cases, a clinical examination by a doctor is mandatory to decide whether to continue with conservative therapy or go for abscess drainage.
Hence my suggestion would be to consult a doctor and get clinically checked. Also you can start antibiotics like coamoxyclav for control of infection and take paracetamol for fever and pain relief or continue with motrin 2-3 times daily. Avoid cold or chilled beverages. Warm saline gargling may be helpful too.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
