What Causes Easy Bruising And Loose Stools In A Child?
I have a 8 year old son diagnosed with febrile seizures 4 years ago...ct mri cbc and LP were normal...yesterday he had another fever and a convulsion...my friend who is a dentist palpated his posterior cervical lymph nodes and they were enlarged...he also asked me question and my son does have easy bruising fever vomiting loose stools and does not gain weight should i be worried about leukemia?
From this symptoms alone we need not worry about leukemia. Still, if he is having recurring fever, easy bruising, and poor weight gain, I would recommend getting him examined with your pediatrician for a detailed examination and basic tests like CBC, ESR and peripheral smear accordingly. Enlarged cervical nodes are quite common in children.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
