What Causes Bone Pain And Slightly Increased Serum Creatinine?
Tubulointerstitial nephritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Sorry for the delayed response.
You are suffering from chronic interstitial nephritis. This disease is slowly progressive and will not cause any immediate complications.
Your treatment looks OK.
But most important is to rule-out acidosis . You can get an ABG test to see any acidosis which is common with this disease and can easily be treated. most important factors to protect your kidney- keep BP well controlled < 130/80. avoid non-veg food. less salt in diet. It is good that in last 4 years your creatinine has not increased much. But slowly this creatinine will progress over next many years. so regular check-up is important including managing sodium, potassium levels and calcium and phosphorus levels, and hemoglobin levels. If you have ay particular questions please ask.
Best wishes,
