What Causes Breathing Problems, Numbness In Fingers And Right Hand?

Question: A few weeks ago I had a upper GI scope....they took a biopsy in my stomach and found that I had a virus that can cause ulcers....they put me on two different antibiotics they do not agree with me. I have breathing difficulties ....the fingers on my right hand are numb and have funny feeling in my head...having full feeling in my ears....also have hurting up my back and up between my shoulders....feel light headed at times like I might pass out but so far haven't passed out

i read your question and i understand your concern. I believe the bug is H pylori for which you have been put on antibiotic combination therapy. That can cause ulcers and explains all this back and shoulder pain symptoms.
However this numbness in hands need evaluation as paresthesia has multiple causes and need evaluation.
Fullness in ears and dizziness are likely connected and needs ear examination to rule out vestibular disorders of inner ear and treat accordingly. Acid reflux on its own can give eustachian tube defect and present with such symptoms.
Nutshell it needs work and evaluation and a complete clinical correlation to connect the dots.

vagus nerve alone never causes such symptoms and is always in correlation with a complete neurological correlation. Dont complicate things yoru yourself. Its mere gastritis and needs supportive care and antacids for management.

Do you think that two weeks of antibiotics (2000 mg daily ) is a little much for this virus . These antibiotics don't agree with me...make my stomach feel worse

i can understand the concern. These antibiotics may be a discomfort some times but its a necessary evil to get rid of H pylori. You may take some supportive care like antacids and motility enhancing medication and diet lifestyle modifications. Talk to your doctor and see if they have any chance to reduce the dose. There is therapy with 5 meds for 10 days.
