What Causes Breathlessness When Diagnosed With Mycoplasma Pneumonia?

Question: Since mycroplama pneumonia is an Anaerobic bacteria, is it OK to use oxygen for symprons of breatlessness?
Brief Answer:
Only If the oxygen saturations ate less than 92%.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I will only recommend oxygen if the oxygen saturation is less than 92%. Oxygen will not help in killing the germ. However, oxygen will only help if he's is unable to get enough oxygen by breathing room air which would correspond to oxygen concentration of less than 92%. The main stay for the treatment of pneumonia remains antibiotics.
I hope this addresses your worry. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
