What Causes Bright Red Band Of Lines All Over Stomach?

Question: Could you please help. A bright red band appeared across the entire front of my stomach it is about 4 in.
in diameter. I currently take a low dosage of prednisone for a condition called patchy meningitis.

this could be shingles. it is a rash caused by a virus. I suggest you go to the ER to have this assessed. you may need antiviral medication.

Is there any pain associated with shingles in the beginning? at this point I do not

have pain.It is 10:30p.m. can I wait and go to the ER in the morning.
