What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge During Early Signs Of Pregnancy?
Question: Hi, I got my last period on 24th march 2015 and after that when I did pregnancy test on 30th april in the morning, it was positive. But the issue is from past 2-3 days I am having brown discharge. May I know the reason why it is happening. Also in my earlier preiods I use have both red and brown discharge. I am little worried wether everything is normal or not.

All these symptoms you are having are suggestive of impending abortion and to stop it you need to take a note of the following points -
- have a good rest with no exertion at all
- avoid intercourse
- take ample amount of water
- take good amount of milk and green leafy vegetables
- almonds and walnuts are very good and should be taken on daily basis
- avoid any kind of stress
Also I would like to know about the medicines you are taking right now so that I can advise you an addition in case needed.

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX I have a polycyctic ovary. I experience the discharge every time i going to washroom. Today i could see little red discharge. I am little worried. I also got the ultrasound scanning on 7th May, it is showing 4 weeks and 5 days pregnancy. I will attached the document and please go through it. I am also attaching the medical prescription document.

Hello mam, I have seen the attached ultrasound report and the prescription slip.
Ultrasound report is reassuring and a repeat scan after ten days will also tell us the heart beat and thus viability of pregnancy.
Keep taking LupiHCG and gestofit or Susten along with folinal as advised.
These drugs will help in proper growth of baby and support pregnancy.
Take tablet tranexemic acid at the time if bleeding as it will help in stopping the bleeding and prevent further episode of bleeding too.
This type of bleeding is common and called as implantation bleeding and usually it stops by itself.

Hello Dr, but now having little red discharge, is it ok or do i need to visit doctor again. I am taking tranexemic acid but still having bleeding with little clots. Could you also advice on food diet.

Take tablet tranexemic acid 500 mg thrice a day and see if bleeding stops and in case it still persists even after 3 doses visit your gynecologist.

Hi Dr. I went to washroom ten minutes back and found a big clot. It was large about an little figure size. Can it be a miscarriage. Will be seeing my gynecologist at 7.pm.
