What Causes Brownish Spot On Skin?
I noticed on my back a brownish spot- kind of looks like a sun spot.
but i made the mistake of googling and apparently sun spots can be melenoma.
I go to a derm regularly and have full body look overs and he has never been concerned. I just want a peace of mind so im uploading two photos. Thanks
I am age 23 - no family history of skin cancer- the spot is not raised- nor does it hurt.
Nothing serious based on the picture, do not worry

Hello and thanks for your query.
I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
I have gone through the picture, based on that, I suggest you not to worry, they look like slight infection of the hair follicle. They might be due to friction and will subside on its own, does not require any treatment. Based on the picture they are not any cancer.
I will suggest you not to worry and relax, you have also gone to dermatologist. You are fine.
Yet , again I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.
Sincerely,
I'm just wondering why the skin has darkened a bit
Don't worry, they don't look like any cancer lesion

Hi
I would again suggest you not to worry, if you are very anxious I would suggest you to see dermatologist again for your own satisfaction.
Melanoma is usually Asymmetrical, One half of a mole or birthmark does not match the other. The edges are irregular, ragged, notched, or blurred. The color is not the same all over and may include shades of brown or black.
The spot is larger than 6 millimeters across, although melanomas can sometimes be smaller than this. The mole is changing in size, shape, or color.
I have given you picture here of melanoma, I would suggest you not to make your own diagnosis.
Hope you have found something useful, don't worry relax.
Take care.
Welcome
