How Can Ear Infections With A Eardrum Hole Be Treated?
my daughter has a port wine stain birthmark that covers her left ear, face neck. she gets alot of ear infection in that ear.so we brought her to an ent dr. he put ear tubes twice in ear. she has had 3 ear surgeries in her ear because she keeps getting a hole in her eardrum. she keeps getting dizz and passing out. could the birthmark have something to do with it?
The birthmark does not seem to be related to her ear problems. The hole in the eardrum is caused by chronic infection. Treating the infection is necessary. Anyway, recurrent bleeding can occur due to the wine stain (which is a hemangioma).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
