Hi XXXXXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
Your hairloss post trauma is probably telogen effluvium. It is a condition where a head injury or trauma causes acute hair loss following a few months after the injury.
This condition normally improves by itself. However, some medicines may be given to promote hair growth.
Please upload a picture, which can make the situation more clear.

Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
I have gone through the pictures uploaded by you and I can say indeed, that it is 'Telogen effluvium' only.
It will gradually improve by itself. You just take care that your are on a healthy balanced diet rich in iron, proteins and essential vitamins. Dietary importance is to be stressed upon. Its better if you can connect with a dietician and get prepared a diet chart regarding this.Taking medicines is of doubtful importance in this condition as this is a self resolving condition. However, minoxidil can be used to promote hair growth. Please consult a dermatologist for expert advice as far as the use of minoxidil is concerned.
It appears to be a hematoma on your forehead that is in the resolving state.I hope that it should clear in a couple of months. No specific medicines for this one too,as it is also self resolving.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have some follow-up queries,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review.Your rating will be of help to me.
