What Causes Bumps At The Site Of Dog Bite?

Question: I had a dog bit my right bicep roughly three weeks ago. There was only a small break in the skin. I was not seen by a doctor. Within a week and a half, the large bruising was almost completely gone. At that time I noticed several small areas of "hardness" some "bumps" so large, they bulge visibly. These have not gone away and are quite tender to the touch. Any advice on what these could be and what to do about it would be appreciated. The entire area is free of discoloration, however, continues to ache and be slightly weaker than normal. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
You may require a course of antibiotics
