Question : I had a sexual experience at the end of August (the25th) in which I was masturbated and I sucked on her nipples, 8 weeks after the incident I had some slight pain and a slight indent in the bump right behind my first front teeth and was worried about syphilis.. I had an RPR 8 weeks and two days after the event which was negative. I am now having pain in my gum/top of mouth region and there looks like there is a sore there. Im worried it is a mucos patch of secondary syphilis. Was the negative rpr 8 weeks after the incident and indication that I dont have syphilis. Can i get syphilis from sucking on a womens breast

Brief Answer:
Syphilis cannot be transmitted by breast sucking.

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I have answered you earlier query too, so hello again!!

No, you can't get syphilis from sucking on a women's breast unless an infectious lesion of syphilis is present on the nipple.

The lesion/sore in the oral cavity most likely is an Aphthous ulcer/canker sore. How long have you had it?

I actually don't think that the most recent pain was a canker sore. I think the gums in that area were just a bit sore. I didn't actually see a sore. Was my 8 week test valid? I'm assuming an infectious lesion on a women's breast is quite rare.

I think you are safe

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Yes, it should be taken as valid. The average incubation period of syphilis is 3 weeks (range 9-90 days) and you were well past that.
It is very rare for a women to have a chancre on nipple and equally rare that it went unnoticed.
