Brief Answer:
Roseola rash
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You seem unconcerned about any other symptoms except rash in your kid. The rash as attachment looks maculopapular rash.
This is a classic description of roseola subitum, a self limiting and harmless disease caused by human herpes 6 virus. it is not herpes. First high fever subsides and then this rash. The child is pretty well, playful , happy during this disease.
No treatment required for this.
hope I answered.

Actually I am very cincerned about other symptoms with my child. We had 2 hospital visits in 3 days when we couldnt get fever down and were worried about dehydration. We were told he had the flu. Fever has been down for a week now. We tried to make an appt today to see our family doctor who is off. We will be seeing them tomorrow but I figured I would try this route today. Thank you for your help. We thought that may be the cause but were still concirned and looking for clarification. Thanks again.
