Question: My stomach is burning, my lower back hurts, I feel pressure in the bowels, and I have excess saliva production, all I want to do is sleep. Is this acid reflux? This is the second time this has happened. Symptoms last 2-3 days.

Brief Answer:
Yes, seems to be acid reflux.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As per your description, it looks like Gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD ).
You should avoid Anti inflammatory tablet, spicy food, carbonated drinks, caffeine products.
Frequent small feeds will be helpful.
I prescribe Rabeprazole along with Levosulpiride tablet to my patients with similar complaints.

I also feel there are elements of small bowel infection involved. Therefore adding Rifaximine tablet to the aforementioned treatment regimen will benefit you.

Nothing to worry. But the drugs that I suggested are prescription only medicine. You may have to see a doctor for a prescription.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
