Brief Answer:
Vaginal infection likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Vaginal burning during intercourse is suggestive of vaginal infection.
One should have a vaginal swab examination to confirm the type of infection and antibiotics should be taken accordingly.
She can use KY jelly instead of VLG gel, however it is not the definitive cure and appropriate treatment should be done for complete relief.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
