Question: i have a burning sensation when i urinate and its hurts as well. i got a hysterectomy done a year ago and have been fine. this is the first time i have had a infection

1] please do not panic
2] It can be urine infection or vaginal and vulval irritation.
3]I will suggest, urine routine test and if needed culture & sensitivity test.
4] Drink plenty of water, 8 - 10 glasses of water.
5] Tab AMOXY- CLAV 625 mg 2 times a day for 5 days.
6] In many women after, surgery there is thinning of vaginal and vulval skin. You can use Premarin cream 0.5 gm once at night for 15 days.
7] Also use of LActacyd vaginal wash 2/3 times a week is advisable.
