What Causes Burning Sensation In Body With Nerve Pain?
Question: Burning skin nerve pain have had shigles before, no rash, painful, taking motrin. Is ther anything else I can do or take?
Hello,
It is possible to get the pain from a shingles attack before the rash occurs. You can alternate motrin and tylenol to get more relief or see your doctor for something stronger.
I hope you feel better soon

Could it be zoster herbine? Viral? Always on the lower side of my body now feel it in my feet...
Brief Answer:
herpes zoster
Detailed Answer:
Herpes zoster is from the same virus that causes chicken pox. If you had chicken pox as a child then you are at risk for having shingles (herpes zoster) as an adult. It usually only occurs on a single side of the body. If it is in both your feet then it is not likely shingles. That sounds more like a peripheral neuropathy (nerve irritation in the nerves in your hands and feet). There are prescription medications to treat this kind of pain such as neurontin and Lyrica.
I hope the pain leaves you soon
