What Causes Burning Sensation In Knees?

Can be neuropathy.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it is an unlikely presentation but since you mention a burning kind of pain it can be neuropathic pain.It seems like the burning is along the nerve root distribution so likely it is mononeuritis multiplex.
The cause for this type of presentation can be many but Diabetes needs to be ruled out along with Vitamin B12 insufficiency. A physical examination is very important to see the nerve distribution in which burning is occuring so probably seeing a neurologist for determining this will be good. If it accompanied by pain then the differentials will be different ,
Take care.

Dear Madam,
Thank you for reverting back.
Well I would like to tell you that generally diabetes happens to be incidental finding . Sometimes patients can present with frequent urination , tingling of hands and feet, frequent urinary tract infections , thirst etc. Vitamin B 12 patients generally present with a vague feeling of instability or staggering feeling. Rest tests need to be done to find out the cause.
Take care.
