Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for getting back.
I am glad to note that your prostatitis was ruled out, and EMG/nerve conduction studies were normal.
The pain and burning seems related to nerve involvement in the pelvic/lumbar/sacral area.
Pregabalin is the drug of choice. Based on the improvement, the dose may be increased gradually to 150-300 mg per day in two divided doses.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,

MS needs to be ruled out.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back with more information.
Vitamin B12 deficiency could explain all these symptoms. However, we need to rule out multiple sclerosis (MS). MRI of brain and spine would help in that.
In the meanwhile, please continue the B12 injections and Pregabalin capsules.

1)what causes vitamin b12 to be this low of 137?
In my case I am non vegetarian.
2)you have written that "The pain and burning seems related to nerve involvement in the pelvic/lumbar/sacral area. "
what if I dont have MS what shall be the next check up?
3)I am getting little cough sometimes is this a side effect of pregabalin?
Answers are below:
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
1. Vitamin B 12 may not be getting absorbed in the gut due to presence of antibodies against intrinsic factor and parietal cells.
2. MRI would show up all the possible causes, other than MS also, so, no further tests are needed.
3. Cough is unrelated to pregabalin.
Best wishes,
