Question: I have a burning sensation in my right pectoral, which happens at night when I sleep on my right side. I had open heart surgery twenty years agod. Could it have anything to do with the incision or my breast plate?
Brief Answer:
It could be due to Musculoskeletal cause.

Hi
As you have undergone Open heart surgery 20yrs back, incision might have healed.
So,the symptoms could be due to Musculoskeletal origin. It could due to the posture.
I prescribe skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside 4mg twice daily for 1 week to my patients with similar complaints.
You need not be concerned. Discuss about my views / treatment with your doctor. And I hope you will get better.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
