What Causes Burning Sensation In The Anal Area?

Question: Recently when taking my bath, I've noticed I have a bump (feels about the size of a pimple) on my anal lining. Yesterday evening I had some burning in that area while urinating and I felt a couple more bumps when I bathed. Obviously, it's a bit difficult to view this area myself so I'm describing it more by feel. Is this something I should see my doctor about or could I try an over-the-counter ointment or medication to see if it helps?
Also - before the bump/bumps showed up, I had been using some Nystatin & Triamcinolone Acetonide cream around my anal area and interior buttock-cheeks due to an itching & slight rash. This cream really helped those symptoms but I wonder if it may have caused the bumps.

Brief Answer:
Can be folliculitis or bacterial/fungal infections.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to folliculitis or bacterial/fungal infection. Avoid soaps and irritants. You can do sitz baths or wash the area with warm water or saline. Applying betadine (povidone iodine) ointment will be helpful also. If there is no improvement then better to consult a General surgeon to have local examination to rule out problems like fissures.
If you send a picture of the area after stretching the legs it will be more helpful in analyzing.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
