What Causes Burning Sensation In The Back And Pain In The Ribs?
Question: Over the last week, a lump (like a lypoma) under ridge of right rib on medial right side developed. Discomfort when bending...like when gardening. It has progressed to a burning sensation on right side from front to back and intermittently on left side/medial rib edge.
Brief Answer:
Supportive care
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
i read your question and i understand your concern. pain in right hypochondrium for one week with a feeling of a mass may be just a gastric discomfort and muscle fat pad etc can be mistaken for some soft tissue mass. Lipomas do not develop in a week. I believe its a mere gastric discomfort and needs supportive care qith antacids and diet lifestyle modification. however i would suggest some work up like abdominal ultrasound to rule out any gall bladder pathology and some baseline blood work up to rule out any infection there.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

I follow a paleo diet. Therefore, with low possibility of it being gastric discomfort for over a week w/ pain and burning radiating from front to back, blood work and US will be scheduled.
Brief Answer:
Supportive care
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me
I am glad you watch out for what you eat, but its a gastric functional discomfort and no diet is excluded, reducing caloric intake and reducing dairy products in it may help. Let the work up come and if clear, just modifications in diet and lifestyle and supportive care would be advised.
I hope it helps.
