What Causes Burning Sensation In The Mouth?

Question: Hi,

I've been having my mouth inside burn all over for weeks. I finally got rid of it and then it's come back but on the top of my tounge with little bumps. When I ate a scone last night and it brought it on except just on the tip of my tounge and the roof of my mouth.

Burning sensation inside mouth with little bumps can be due to a multiple reasons.
Please provide following details so that I can try to rule out the cause.
1.Do you have any medical problems or do you take any medication?
2.Is there burning always present along with eruption of bumps?
3.Was the burning continuously present for week or it comes and goes?
4.Is the burning present only during meals or while eating or is it always present?
5.Do you have problems like dry mouth, acid reflux or white coating over tongue?.
6.Do you have any known allergies?
