What Causes Burning Sensation In The Navel Region With Abdominal Bloating?
Question: Hello Doctor,
I have been observing navel burning sensation and bloating feeling. Not sure if that is for hunger or pain after eating something. I am unable to concentrate on work due to this pain. I am not comfortable. Please advise immediately. Secondly letting you know that I am planning to conceive. Hence please give me medication which will not have any effect on it.

I can understand your concern for your symptoms
1) Abdominal pain at center of abdomen is related to small intestine inflammation and associated inflammation.
2) This is not serious condition and can be improved with medication and die-modification.
3) It will develop due to either irritation or allergy from food or from non-specific bacterial infection.
4) This will cause abdominal heaviness at center part of abdomen particularly after eating and/or diarrhea.
5) anti-spasmodic medication to control pain (spasmoproxyvon), anti-inflammatory medication (paracetamol, antiacidity medication (pantoprazole) are effective to treat this condition.
6) If there will be no or only slight improvement after taking these medications for 5 days then you should go ahead for further evaluation in form of stool examination (in case of diarrhea) and USG abdomen.
