not typically described in this way

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

This is not typically how heart related disease presents but some presentations are atypical especially in women.

Typically heart related symptoms usually involve the center of the chest though may also involve the left side as well.
The pain is tight or heavy , worse with activity, better with rest and may be associated with shortness of breath, palpitations. If you are having any of these symptoms or you are not sure, you should be see your doctor as soon as possible.

Burning discomfort in the area described is usually related to GERD (gastro esophageal reflux) or neuralgia (nerve related pain).

Though tums can help with reflux, you may want to try medication that actually reduces acid production such prilosec, prevacid, protonix, aciphex or nexium.
One of these can be used along with the tums.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
