What Causes Burning Sensation In The Tongue When Diagnosed With Glossitis?

Question: For the past few months I have had trouble with my tongue burning when I eat or drink certain foods that wouldn't ordinarily cause a burning sensation. It eases up and then gets worse but does not completely goes away.
