Question: Hi I have been having a burning sensation in my vagina for a few weeks after being checked by doctor I do not have a uti, or any stds, any suggestions on what it might be?

I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

Since UTI and STD have been ruled out ( I presume vaginal swabs, Urine culture and sensitivity are negetive), it could be due to hormonal changes causing decreased vaginal secretions. Please do rule out pin worm infection.

Some hygiene products, soaps can cause vaginal dryness. Just look into this matter if you have recently started using different products.
Just use moisturisers like Replens, Fresh start twice daily for 2 weeks.

Insufficient foreplay and stress will result in decreased vaginal secretions
Indulge in foreplay for long time before sex. This helps to lubricate vagina.
Apply lubricant K-Y jelly to vagina 15 minutes before sex.
