Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
Since when you have burning sensation?
Is there any history of tongue bite?
Is there any lesion on the tongue.?
Do you smoke or chew tobacco?
Drink alcohol?
How is your oral hygiene?
It might be due to many causes like, poor oral hygiene, irritation caused by food like spicy food, alcohol etc. nutritional deficiency of iron and vitamin B12, dry mouth or xerostomia, stress, acid reflux, side effects of medicines etc..
And the swelling might be lymph node, which is as result of some infection in the mouth.
I would suggest you to maintain good oral hygiene, go for salt water gargling there to four times a day and use chlorhexidine mouth was twice a day ( morning and evening). Also avoid spicy food, alcohol and smoking if you do.
Taking B complex and vitamin C is advised also as this condition can occur from deficiency of such vitamins.
Usually this will resolve in in 1 week.
If there is no improvement then you may need antibiotics, which can be decided post examination, so visit local doctor for help
Hope this helps
Take care
