What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating?

Question: Hi i have a burning sensation after urinating on and off over the last 1.5 months. Think it got triggered after excessive and dry masturbation over a few days....i know this because if i stop masturbation/having sex , the problem tends to get better and always gets worse after i do the same... The skin shows no signs of redness etc....though there are some small light brownish patterns on the skin ( which might have been there all along...didnt really pay this much attention to my glans earlier). The dont hurt as such and are not scaly or tender or rising above the skin surface...
Apart from the fact that i have to abstain from masturbation/sex maybe....is there any cream/ointment/home treatment i can use? I am otherwise healthy...no DM etc.

Based on the facts that you have posted the burning sensation after passing urine after masturbation is most likely to be due to inflammation of Urethra (Urethritis) resulting from congestion of urethra that commonly occurs due to increased flow of blood to urethra during erection and ejaculation.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily for few days .

Ensure to drink ore water and empty your bladder before sexual act or masturbation .

Thanks for ur reply. What wd have caused this tho...Excessive masturbation can cause this? How many days shd i take the medication?

If the reason for this is irritation /inflammation is trauma to the urethra due to congestion....why antibiotics? Arent they for infections...or is it that once the urethra is injured , it gets infected easily?

I have a sensitive stomach and develop acidity very easily....so asking. A bit hesitant to have antibios and painkillers...Will have them in this case tho. Will have something for the acidity while taking the course.

Inflammation is a primitive stage and can lead to infection .The antibiotic is usually prescribed at such stage as a prophylaxis to prevent impending infection .

Take Pantoprozole twice daily along with antibiotic to avoid drug induced gastritis .
