Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Welcome Welcome to Healthcare.

Thanks for the query.

Calcific tendinitis of the gluteal tendon is a rare diagnosis, usually of exclusion.

It causes symptoms like pain on walking, extending the hip, shooting pains down the leg or sciatica symptoms, tingling and numbness of the legs, weakness or limp on walking.

If you want to read about specific information concerning it, you can find it on Science Direct website with pictures of the Xray and also on NCBI Website. These websites will show the Case reports of patients with this problem.

Usually this condition is sold limiting and goes away with heat, rest and avoiding strenuous activity. If you have severe symptoms, you can get it debrided with key hole endoscopic surgery by a Hip surgeon or Sports Medicine specialist.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,
