What Causes Canker Sores With Swelling In The Mouth?

Question: the symptoms are mouth ulcers/ painful tongue etc following stomach disturbance. sore side of tongue. cancer sores.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems that you have Canker sores in mouth along with inflammation inside mouth causing soreness of sides of tongue..

Stomach upset is one of the common cause for such symptoms..

I would suggest you to continue applying Triamcinolone Acetonide and baking soda gargles..
Do warm saline gargles three to four times a day..
Suck ice pops..
Take Vitamin B complex and lysine supplements daily..
Avoid spicy foods..

Thanks for your advise I have been doing the treatment you recommended for days. Indeed my stomach has been upset for a while although I am rather careful with my diet and supplements including probiotics. However I had a cold/ cough a while ago and was left with a lot of mucus- a very "stringy" and persistent cattahr. Is it possible the all the toxic bacteria I have been ingesting is contributing to my stomach problems? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you again

As per your query ingesting a lot of mucous can infect the stomach, however it does not need to be the cause always. Drink cleaner water.

Also if you have persistent cold then mouth ulcers can be due to viral infection also..

You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and an Oral swab culture and blood test can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
