What Causes Change In The Pigmentation Of The Iris?

Question: I am 71 years old and my formerly dark brown eyes have lightened to an almost XXXXXXX color---which I HATE---Is there and way to regain my original darker eye color?
Brief Answer:
depigmantation of iris.withchange of colour.
Detailed Answer:
Colour of eye depends on pigments of iris. It can be due to some systemic medication like moxifloxacin or eye drop like livobunolol. It is due to increase in prostaglandin in anterior chamber. It can be secondary to uveitis resulting in dispersal of pigments in anterior chamber. One way is to stop such medication. I think there is no medication to regain original co lour of iris. For immediate result contact lens with require shade can be used.
