Brief Answer:
Gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD)

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

You are suffering from a condition called Gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD) which occurs due to chronic gastritis and erosive duodenitis and is due to infection with H pylori. It is commonly referred to as heartburn and occurs when gastric acid refluxes into the lower part of esophagus and causes the pain in lower central or left side of the chest.

The diagnosis is done by a upper GI endoscopy along with urease breath test but I believe that it has already been done and the result is positive.

Treatment is with anti H pylori regimen for stipulated duration (may vary with the regimen) and omeprazole for one and a half months.

I am sure that the ongoing treatment will be successful in giving you resolution from your symptoms.

Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking back.

Curd or protein containing foods is known to increase gastric acid production. If the amount of acid is more, the chances of reflux automatically increase. Certain foods specifically cause this. In your case cucumber is such a food.

Hope I have been able to resolve your query. If you found my answer helpful, please mark it with a positive review and a 5 star rating.
