What Causes Chest Pain And Nasal Congestion?

Question: I'm xxx. I have had chest and nasal congestion along with varying days of aches.
I have had this 28 days. First 5 days z-pak....seemed to help then I got worse again so I was prescribed
a 5 pill antibiotic script. This helped a little then got worse. I more z pak and that had short life improvement.
I HAVE BEEN USING OVER THE COUNTER MUCINEX since the anti biotic treatment. I'm now worse hard to breath. Lung Xray showed no infection. I have trouble sleeping and can't work. I was exposed in Grenada,
West Indies

Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
Front the complaints it seems to be that you are probably suffering from some nasal pathology leading to increased mucus production.
My advice is you should get a xray paranasal sinuses done.
Take a combination of levocetrizine plus pseudoephedrine twice daily for a week along with nasal spray twice daily. Continue with mucinex.
Take nebulizer or at least steam inhalation.
Get sputum examination done to see the cause of infection.
All the medicine prescribed by me will be available only on prescription.
Follow up with the required information so that I can suggest you better.
Take care
Thanks and regards
