Posted on Mon, 12 May 2014
Question: Saturday morning I woke up and had a pain in my chest, became a bit nervous and my heart started beating rapidly. I then noticed my feet were sweaty and my mouth was dry. The pain in my chest did not last long nor did it spread. Does it sound like a panic attack or something more serious. I am under a great deal of stress living with marital problems.

Brief Answer: this could me more serious Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. As you have described that you are hypertensive and living under stress and also that your eye pressures are high that means you have started getting problems because of your high blood pressure. In the given scenario the chest pain that you had and the description of it, it looks something like ANGINAL pain. So for this you need to get in touch with the cardiologist through your G P and get the workup done on this line. Regards,
