These may be the symptoms of anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query. I have read it carefully.
It is really distressing for a person to not identify the cause for symptoms.
I have few questions for you. Answer in manner asthey are asked:
1. Do you have other symptoms apart from chest pain, like nausea, vomiting, racing heart beat, sweating, fainting, vertigo, feeling of going crazy, feeling that you will die etc?
2. For how long you have been facing these?
3. Does chest pain is related to any stress?
4. Does chest pain is continuous or it is episodic?
5. Have you visited a psychiatrist? Who diagnosed you as a anxiety disorder?
6. Who prescribed xanax?
If you are having anxiety disorder then you must have received a SSRI antidepressant drug which will lower doen anxiety from brain.
Xanax is not a good drug. It controls anxiety for moments only. It is a habit forming drug.
I am waiting for your valuable reply.

Chest pain is symptoms of your anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.
As per the answers you have given, I feel you have anxiety disorder possibly Generalized anxiety disorder with panic symptoms in between [I am not labeling it as confirm. You have to visit a psychiatrist to confirm the diagnosis on interview basis].
Important point towards anxiety if normal cardiac evaluation and investigation. You have also said that you are under constant stress so it the most likely possibility as per me.
Anxiety disorders are treated with antidepressant drugs, of which SSRI antidepressants are most effective. These drugs are usually given initially with combination of anxiolytics like klonopin, xanax to control initial anxiety. SSRI drugs usually show their effect after 15 days, by this time anxiety can be controlled by short term use of benzodiazepines.
I here suggest you to visit a psychiatrist and discuss all the symptoms with him and follow his advice. He will make a final diagnosis and will give drugs accordingly. If you were my patient then I would have given you Paroxetine and clonazepam combination to start with. Clonazepam will be taperd off within next 2 months.
You have mentioned that you feel pain while breathing, I don't understand that. Do you have pain in lower ribs when you breath? Did you have chest infection or sore throat with fever recently?
I am waiting for answers. I think this will be helpful to you. Wishing you good health.
This chest pain is not of cardiac origin
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again XXXXXXX
Chest pain that is continuous for long and sometimes goes away and comes back is not the characteristic of cardiac origin. The Chest pain in angina is of sharp and shooting pain that starts over left side, precordial region and may radiate along the shoulder and lower border of arm and forearm. It does not last more than 5 to 10 minutes and its severity is very high, you have to rush to ER for its relief.
High BP is considered only after BP is beyond 140/90. If your blood pressure is maintained below it then you do not have hypertension.
Sometimes due to anxiety also the BP goes high. So you have to go for BP monitoring for a week, twice a day in morning and evening. After this if BP comes high in all readings then only you need anti hypertensives and further cardiac evaluation.
I am still on the same opinion of anxiety disorder, Do visit a psychiatrist and solve this issues.
I hope this will be helpful to you. wishing you good health.
Happy to help
