Question: I've had terrible abdominal cramps for a couple of weeks. I'm also getting chills. I went to my doctor thinking I had a bladder infections but testing showed this wasn't true. I don't have pain on urination, but I have cramps. I also have not appetite.

Brief Answer:
Provide more information and meanwhile take symptomatic treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern.

Here,I would like to know some more information from you,so kindly provide me more clinical history.

Do you have abdominal pain or gastric upset?
Do you have altered bowel habit recently?
Do you have fever or vomiting?
Which blood/urine tests you undergone? or taken any treatment?

Mostly, you will require below mentioned symptomatic treatment since you have already ruled out bladder infection.

1) Take probiotics like Tab. SPOROLAC-DS three times daily with Econorm sachets three times daily for 5 days (to take 1 XXXXXXX with full glass of water) which are available over the counter to replenish normal gut bacterial flora.

2) Take lots of fluids and fruit juices throughout the day (which you are already doing) and avoid routine diet for couple of days.

Take WHO ORS for maintaining electrolyte balance.Coconut water will also be helpful.

3) No oily or spicy foods.

Take Tab Pantoprazole 40 mg twice daily before food for 7 days if you have gastric trouble.

4) Take Tab.ONDANSETRON 8mg twice daily for 3 days if you have nausea or vomiting

5) Take Syrup CYPROHEPTADINE 2TSF daily for 10days to regain appetite which is available over the counter.

Hope this will help you and kindly get back to me with this answers, I will happy to guide you further.
