![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I received a diagnosis of Bronchitis after a couple weeks Im starting to feel better except for the occassional coughing fit sometimes when I cough I get in shaking, felling like an electric shock or a convulsion I cannot control for a few seconds. Iam like most people on here to scared to go to the doctor and they tell me I have brain tumor or something. I was on antibiotics for a ear infection I finished the pills. Also I have had a crick in my neck for about a month which the doc thought may have been result go the ear infection and the coughing if that helps Motrin was prescribed this helps when it wears off the pain returns. I cough allot less than even yesterday. However 1-4 of the 60 times I cough day I get that odd sensation and feel light headed and as if Im being electrocuted where I can control my body and i shake all over for a few seconds 10 seconds tops.
Brief Answer:
Cough is due to sensitive airways after a bout of bronchitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
From your description i understand that you continue to have cough after a bout of bronchitis which is quite common as the airways become sensitive and react to any allergen in the form of dust/smoke etc. Continue with montair and also use a inhaler called aerocort. It will go away soon.
I have not understood why you are concerned about brain tumour. At present there is nothing to suggest a brain tumour and shaking may be because of cough bouts. However if you are so concerned, you consult your PCP or a neurologist to clear your doubts.

So this would help with the chronic coughing and convulsing ? should I just ask my doctor for it? Or just use strong cough suppressants, since the doctor didn't give me any and the print out didn't say so I didn't get any.
Brief Answer:
It will help in chronic cough
Detailed Answer:
It will help in the chronic cough; but as I said earlier I am not able to understand the shaking part that you are describing. If it is very troublesome you may consult a neurologist.
You may discuss about montair with your treating physician.
