Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have taken note of your query and I hope to answer it in the best possible way.
Dermatitis is the other name for "Inflammation of skin". Redness, itching, burning are symptoms that accompany dermatitis.
Dermatitis can be either acute or chronic.
Acute is usually one that is recent in onset, is intensely red, weepy/oozy, crusty. It may be complicated by secondary bacterial infection
Chronic dermatitis is the one which has persisted for quite some time. It is usually dry, scaly, lichenified i.e accompanied by thickening and darkening of skin.
There can be various types of dermatitis:
-Irritant or Allergic contact dermatitis
-Atopic dermatitis
-Nummular dermatitis
-Seborrheic dermatitis etc to name a few..
The underlying factor in all these is inflammation of the skin. Immune cells play an important part in either initiating Or perpetuation of dermatitis.
Steroids (topical and oral) on account of there anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressives properties form an important part of treatment in dermatitis.

Oral antibiotics are for superimposed bacterial infection of dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
These are oral antibiotics and would only help with secondary bacterial infection that might have superimposed over a dermatitis.
However, for dermatitis itself, oral antibiotics won't do much.
