What Causes Circular Rash On Arm Inspite Of Suffering From Fever And Cough?

Question: I have flu like symptoms and a circular non-itchy flat rash on my right arm. Should I be concerned?
Flu symptoms include body aches, dry cough and low fever (101); starting yesterday. Rash just started late this afternoon.
Had a virus (head cold/sinuses) over the last 1 1/2 weeks. Saw doc, who said it was okay at the time - no fever. Have not seen doc in last 24 hours with new symptoms. Do not know if it is related.

Brief Answer:
I advice you to consult doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion your rash seems mostly due to viral infection only.
But better to get done clinical examination of the lesion, so that appropriate treatment can be started.
Rash after flu infection is very common.
And treatment of the rash is just to treat flu symptoms, rash will heal by itself.
You may need antihistamine anti inflammatory drugs.
Since all these are prescribed drugs, better to consult doctor and start treatment.
Rash is mostly related to viral(flu) infection but clinical examination is needed.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
