Brief Answer:
Most likely cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Cirrhosis has many different causes like chronic alcohol intake, Hepatitis B and C infection etc.
This patient is an alcoholic. So it could be the likely cause. But the uploaded documents do not show any report related to Hepatitis B and C infection. So I cannot rule out other common causes.

The ascites in this patient is however due to two reasons - Cirrhosis of liver and tuberculous infection of the abdomen.

Regards,
Dr.R.K
